Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure & DevOps Consultant with expertise in OpenShift, Linux, CI/CD, Containers, and Kubernetes to design and implement advanced IT infrastructure solutions. You will be at the forefront of leveraging industry standards and cutting-edge technologies to create robust, scalable, and innovative systems that support our continuous delivery and DevOps culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advanced Infrastructure Development: Design and implement IT infrastructure solutions using modern tools and methodologies. You will specialize in OpenShift, Linux, CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes, and Containers to create innovative and reliable systems.
- Champion of DevOps Culture: Drive automation and continuous improvement initiatives across development teams, contributing to our “Continuous Everything” philosophy. Your focus will be on optimizing development and operational workflows by embedding DevOps best practices.
- Agile Team Collaboration: Collaborate seamlessly with Agile SCRUM teams, from gathering initial requirements through to development and production integration. Your role will ensure high-quality deliverables by integrating operations deeply into the development lifecycle.
- Innovative Problem Solving: Embrace a fail-fast mindset to experiment with new ideas, using proof-of-concept strategies to validate innovative solutions. You’ll engage stakeholders with visionary ideas that inspire excitement and support.
Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent hands-on experience in technical roles.
- Consulting Expertise: Proven track record in designing and proposing innovative technical solutions that secure client endorsement and successfully implement project agreements.
Technical Proficiency:
- Infrastructure Implementation: Extensive experience in building and managing sophisticated IT infrastructures.
- Linux Systems: Proficiency with RedHat, SuSE Linux, and tools like RedHat Satellite and IDM for system integration.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Hands-on experience with Puppet, Ansible, Kubernetes, Chef, and Terraform.
- CI/CD Systems: Expertise in CI/CD pipelines using tools like OpenShift, Jenkins, Maven, ANT, Grunt, GIT, Nexus, GitLab CI, CircleCI, and GitHub Actions.
- Containerization and Orchestration: Skilled in deploying and managing containerized applications using Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker, Docker Swarm, and advanced tools like Istio and Helm.
- Cloud Technologies: Experience managing cloud solutions across platforms like AWS and Azure, including IaaS, PaaS, CaaS, and SaaS. Familiarity with serverless technologies like AWS Lambda and Azure Functions.
- Monitoring and Operations: Proficient in using modern monitoring tools such as NewRelic, ELK (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), Splunk, Graylog, and advanced tools like Prometheus and Grafana.
- Software Development & Delivery: Familiarity with modern development and test automation frameworks, as well as advanced delivery techniques such as canary deployments, feature flags, and A/B testing with tools like LaunchDarkly and Spinnaker.
